HOMESTEAD
Originating in the early 90's, HOMESTEAD was a “back yard style” band that later became a bigger dance band called Hawaiian Riddim Band which hit the charts in the late 90's with its single “Reggae Party”. Wanting to keep the “family" feel, the band went through several name changes and transitions all leading us back to where we started… at the beginning. The HOMESTEAD now, is the same as before… a family band. Jonathan Puahala (dad) (c/o 1983), Dianna Puahala (mom) & son Jordan Puahala (c/o 2010). Kevin Bradley Goo (nephew), our Filipino cousin Darren Esperito, and guitarist Alan Villaren. HOMESTEAD'S 1st album titled Hawaiian His-Story debuted in 2011 & their 2nd cd titled Family debuted early 2018 and a single So Into You released in 2020. Currently HOMESTEAD is working on another cd. Come join us on this journey of HOMESTEAD feeling, HOMESTEAD life, HOMESTEAD jamz. Enjoy the ride! |
NUFF SEDD
In 2004, Nuff Sedd burst onto the Hawaii music scene with their Award Winning debut album, "Open Doors for Strangers.” Nuffsedd’s cutting edge sound made them one of Hawai’i’s premier bands known the world over. Originally from Maui band Ho'omau, founding members Joshua Kahula, David Wood, Kit Okazaki and Duane Rosa formed Nuffsedd. The current band lineup is Joshua Kahula and new members Dane Patao, Michael Casil, Jonathan Cua & Will Robinson. Joshua Kahula wrote, composed and arranged many of their songs. Joshua’s most memorable moment was gigging with Natural Vibrations , and then having PRINCE unexpectedly show up and join them for a song. Their sophomore album, "Life....in a song” was released in 2011, with their first single ‘Bits and Pieces’ receiving radio play locally and internationally. Nuff Sedd released the single ‘Minds on You’ in the summer of 2020 which was well received and is in steady rotation at local radio stations. In the summer of 2021, Nuff Sedd released another groovy single, ‘call you everyday’ feat. HHB. with accompanying music video which can be found on their YouTube channel and all digital platforms.
