The Foundation is pleased to announce its 2016 Hall of Honor Inductees:

SILVERSWORD HERITAGE AWARD : an alumni who is distinguished in life & work - Harriet Holt, Class of 1944
AWARD OF EXCELLENCE : an alumni who has excelled in their field or profession - Charlotte Botheilo, Class of 1968

SPIRIT OF MAUI AWARD : an alumni who gave back to the community, who made a difference within the community- Grant Chun, Class of 1979
INSPIRATION AWARD : (not necessarily an alumni) a faculty member past or present who went above-and-beyond and made a difference to the students of the school. - James Kidoguchi, Former Band Director 
SABER SPIRIT : (not necessarily an alumni) an individual who is an unsung hero to the school, possibly volunteered at the school. - Dr. Frank Baum and Dr. Colleen Inouye, Saber parents and loyal supporters of Maui High for 15+ years.

The Foundation is pleased to grant $1500 to Maui High HOSA in support of national competition travel expenses in summer of 2016. 

January, 2016
The Foundation is pleased to grant $1600 to Maui High's 9th/10th grade Academies (ACOM, Pohaku, & Inspire) in support of program incentives and program development.

The Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of the 2016 MHS Foundation, 2016 MHS Foundation AVID, and 2016 MHS Foundation CTE scholarship applications. Scholarships are available on MHSF website and at Maui High's Career Center in B100. In 2016, a total of $10,000 in scholarships are expected to be awarded.


November, 2015
The Foundation is pleased to announce that three $1,000 MHS Foundation scholarships, one $1,000 MHS Foundation AVID scholarship, and six $1000 Career & Technical Education scholarships (NEW!) will be awarded in Spring 2016.

The Foundation thanks all sponsors, supporters, and attendees of the 4th Annual Hall of Honor Awards Banquet. The committee is pleased to report that the event raised over $10,000 to assist the Foundation in fulfilling its purposes.

The Foundation sends a big mahalo to sponsors, donors, and attendees of our 2015 Hall of Honor Awards Banquet held on October 21, 2015 at the Maui Beach Hotel. The event raised awareness toward the efforts of the MHS Foundation as well as over $10,000.

The Foundation is pleased to announce our 2014-15 Scholarship winners. The recipients of our $1,000 MHS Foundation Scholarship are Matthew Thomas Sturm, Christopher Kim, Shantel Longboy, Ro Ann Viloria, and Kaden Akahoshi. The recipients of our $1,000 MHS Foundation AVID Scholarship are Dan Bumanglag and Jazzmin Cabo. Congratulations to these deserving graduates!
