Executive Summary
What We Do:
The Maui High School Foundation:
- Raises funds for Maui High School, Kahului;
- Distributes funds to Maui High School programs;
- Manages funds and endowments; and
- Connects alumni and friends with Maui High School.
Raising Funds:
The Foundation conducts fund raising campaigns and activities for specific Maui High School priorities and programs and provides central services to raise funds, manage assets, and administer gift accounts for Maui High School. To accomplish these activities, and to the extent available and appropriate, the Foundation provides resources and specialists in major gifts, foundation and corporate giving, annual giving, planned giving, and donor relations. The Foundation solicits contributions to benefit Maui High School and assists donors with their contributions.
Distributing Funds:
The Foundation distributes funds in accordance with donor directions as to how and where donor gifts are to be used.
Managing Funds:
The Foundation manages funds and endowments, administers accounts established for the benefit of Maui High School and its programs, and responds to account service requests.
Connecting Alumni and Friends:
The Foundation develops alumni relations, advances the interests of Maui High School by connecting alumni and friends with the School, builds relationships with stakeholders in the community, and inspires pride, affinity, and support through mutually beneficial and lifelong relationships.
