SABER SCHOLAR OF DISTINCTION
Recognizes the top all-around recipient of MHSF scholarships. The recipient has excelled academically, demonstrated strong leadership, and made positive contributions to their school and society. It celebrates well-rounded students who are prepared for life beyond high school and embody Maui High School’s core values, emphasizing personal and academic growth while contributing to community development. Must have a weighted cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.75 on a 4.0 scale.

It is given to the students who represents the ultimate Saber graduate—excelling in academics, leadership, and service to the school community. While similar to the Saber Scholar of Distinction, the Silversword Award focuses on students who best embody the highest values of Maui High School, serving as a role model for future generations of Sabers. Must have a weighted cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.75 on a 4.0 scale.

Designed to help students prepare for a successful transition into the workforce by providing resources to support their professional needs. The scholarship provides a gift card in the amount of either $1,000 or two $500 cards, which can be used to purchase items needed for employment, such as tools, work clothing, safety gear, or other essentials. Students must be on track to graduate.

Dedicated to those who have overcome challenges and shown remarkable progress in their educational path, making them college-bound and ready to pursue further opportunities, including trade school. Must have a weighted cumulative high school grade point average of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Offers a lasting "opportunity" and support for up to 4 years of education and/or post-secondary training, ensuring students have the opportunity to succeed throughout their post-secondary journey while attending school or training. Must have a weighted cumulative high school grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Must have a weighted cumulative high school grade point average of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.

Memorial scholarship sponsored by the Yogi ʻOhana of Pukalani, in honor of 16-year-old Eryn-Joie Yogi, a Maui High School junior whose life was tragically taken in an automobile accident in 2018. This scholarship is awarded to a student who exemplifies similar qualities to that or Eryn-Joie of helping others, showing kindness and compassion, and putting their needs before their own, thereby carrying forward Eryn-Joie’s spirit of generosity and care. Must have a weighted cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

The A & I REFRIGERATION SCHOLARSHIP is funded by A & I Refrigeration Sales and Service Inc. of Kahului, Maui. “We value students’ hopes, dreams and aspirations. Our mission is to provide qualified and highly skilled workers trained to meet the challenges of rapid technological advancements. Hence, the purpose of this scholarship is to make the dream of college a reality for area students who wish to remain on Maui and who desire careers that will improve our community.” A&I Refreigeration strived to support students’ hopes, dreams and aspirations. Must have been in Maui High's STEAM Learning Center activities for at least 2 years. Must have a weighted cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
